When I get great deals on produce, one of the ways I incorporate it into my menu plan is to juice it!
Here is a recipe I created for a green juice that is just perfect at breakfast time:
(Just customize the preparation of the produce according to the specifications for your juicer)
- two ribs of celery
- one clementine
- one small lime
- two cups chopped kale
- half a small bunch of cilantro
- two granny smith apples
This combination is sweet and tangy, so the whole family will like it, even though it's green!
