The Frugal Insta-Garden: Tips for Transplant Success

It's Spring and it seems everyone is spending a lot of time in their gardens lately.

If your garden leaves something to be desired and your garden budget isn't exactly overflowing, my tip is to simply ask around to "find" your garden. You will surely encounter friends and neighbors who have an abundance of certain plants and bulbs that are free for the taking if you simply want to dig them up.

The upside is that you will have an instant garden for labor only, and the downside-some would say-is that you may end up with a mishmash of plants and bulbs.  In my opinion, it is not a downside at all but rather a nice perk, because your garden will be all the more interesting.

So now that you are interested in the frugal insta-garden, you may wonder how successful your transplanting endeavor will be.  Well, I happened upon the perfect article with some really great tough-love tips on just how to get those transplants to prosper.

Happy frugal gardening!
