Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale!

The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale will take place on March 6th-9th at the Heymann Convention Center Ballroom, located at 1373 S. College Road in Lafayette.

Gently used hardcover and paperback books are sold by the inch. 

The night of March 6th is the Friends Preview Night and it starts at 6pm. If you are not a Friend of the Library yet, you can usually join for $5 on the first night of the sale. The advantage of going on Friends Preview Night is that you get first selection and therefore it is usually a very busy night. I recommend getting in line a little early before the doors open. 

As for navigating the sale, they usually have some boxes and bags available, but I find a tote bag comes in handy to help hold your selections while you move around the tables.

The public sale starts on March 7th and will continue through March 9th.

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday, March 9
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The last day of the sale is usually clearance day and though the selection is quite diminished by that time, you can get some great deals on some wonderful books.
