Frugal Back-to-School Preparation Announcements

Our next Budget Queen coupon swap will be on Tuesday, August 7^th at 6PM in the conference room at the South Regional Library, Lafayette, LA.

It's back to school time, so it's time for school supply shopping, buying new clothes and uniforms, hair cuts and getting back into the routine. Take advantage extra savings while you are back-to-school shopping during the Louisiana State Sales Tax Holiday this weekend. Old Navy is having a uniform sale right now and Remington College-Lafayette Campus and JCPenney Salons nationwide are offering free hair cuts for children in August.

Sometimes it's a challenge to get back into the routine as the summer closes and my article How to Create a Kid-Friendly Morning Routine that Works may be helpful to you as we approach the coming school year.

The children are always ravished when they come home from school and it's nice to be prepared. I've created short versatile list of what to stock up on for quick after school snacks to give you some ideas.

Enjoy the remaining weeks of summer!
